A Domain of Your Own
Owning a space on the web empowers both students and faculty by placing the reins of their digital identities and online presence firmly in their hands. Utilizing SUNY Create faculty, students, and staff are creating openly licensed learning materials, sharing research, and collaborating between institutions.
In addition to nurturing creativity and intellectual expression, the Domain of One’s Own movement emphasizes the development of digital skills and literacies. It encourages students to explore web development, design, and online publishing, fostering a deeper understanding of the internet’s functioning and its potential for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
